Hello everybody, Today I will introduce to you another tool for your lessons. It is called as Jamboard. Let 's find out what it is.

Google Jamboard is a digital whiteboard that enables in-person or remote collaboration on a shared room. Students or colleagues may collaboratively and synchronously sketch out ideas, solve problems, or draw. They can then save their work to Google Drive, save it as a PDF to their device, or save individual frames as individual images.

If you look for Jamboard now, you'll most likely come across a very expensive physical smart whiteboard. Don't worry, this isn't the subject of today's discussion. Instead, we're talking about the free companion app, which you can access through your browser or download for iOS and Android.

Now, I will list some of the features of Jamboard.

  • Google Jamboard has a number of markup features that collaborators can use in the class for a variety of purposes.
  • Jamboard users can choose from six different frame context choices, in addition to the default white frame, depending on their needs: dots, rules, squares, graph, blue, and chalkboard.
  • Jams can be shared in a number of ways, depending on your needs, through a direct connection. The default setting for jam links is blocked, which means that only people who have been added by the file's owner can access the connection.
  • You can save your entire jam as a PDF file at any time, or Save frame as image to save individual frames as a PNG file. Jams are saved to your Google Drive automatically and can be arranged into folders just like any other Google file form.

As an English teacher I use Google Jamboard and you can see below one of my jams.

So, if you like the app, you can learn  the how to use it from video that I added the link of it below.
