What is Seesaw For School and How can we use it?

Seesaw is a platform for student engagement. Teachers of all school levels and curriculum areas can use Seesaw to generate learning projects and assignments for their students. Videos, photos, text, graphics, files, and drawings can all be used in the assignments. Teachers can also use Seesaw to create a class blog, communicate with students and family, develop and select activities from a large and expanding library, and evaluate student work through digital portfolios. Teachers can use the application for free and have access to its basic capabilities. Seesaw Plus is a premium upgrade that allows teachers greater privacy settings and other advantages.

Setting up a class on Seesaw is simple, and the platform's online interface guides users through the various steps. Despite the fact that Seesaw does not now offer a live video-streaming platform, it is frequently utilized for distant learning due to its compatibility with asynchronous learning models utilized all over the world. The Seesaw Parent & Family app, which is available online and on Android and iOS, helps parents and caregivers to keep track of their children's progress and maintain communication between school and home. For notes, captions, and comments on student work, as well as messages to or from the teacher, a translation tool is also accessible for families (but not for students).
